COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT - United Way

One of the most important ways to support our community is through the United Way campaign in Omaha and Joplin; the Community Chest campaign in McClure; and the United Givers Fund in Scottsboro. These agencies help people deal with situations that are too overwhelming or complex to handle alone. Agencies can provide help for people who are faced with the birth of a physically disabled child, a devastating illness, accident or death.

Lozier recognizes the needs of its employees and the community and has taken a proactive approach to providing the necessary resources to deal with these situations. Our United Way, Community Chest and United Givers Fund campaigns take place during the month of October. A special solicitation is done with our National Sales Force so that they have the opportunity to contribute to their local United Way through payroll deduction. Employee meetings are conducted by teams of employees in each plant. These employees have an opportunity to visit some of the agencies and invite guest speakers from the agencies of their choice.
