LOZIER 70th ANNIVERSARY

Lozier has led the way since 1956 as the leading manufacturer of products used by retailers in stores and warehouses with a vision to be operationally excellent in support of retail’s present and future. In 2026, Lozier is proud to celebrate its platinum anniversary marking 70 years in business.

LOZIER, THE PLATINUM STANDARD

LOZIER THROUGH THE YEARS

1955

While working for his father’s refrigeration sales and repair company, Allan Lozier invents “no bolt” metal shelving.

1956

Lozier Corporation, then named Lozier-Line Manufacturing Co., officially begins operation as retail fixture manufacturer, following success of inventor Allan Lozier’s “no-bolt” metal shelving.

1962

Facing rising demand, Lozier expands, purchasing its second Omaha facility, known as the West Plant.

1964

Lozier purchases McClure plant, eventual home of welded wire production.

1968

Lozier purchases Joplin plant. Today, Joplin produces Lozier’s checkout and self-checkout cabinetry.

1970

Lozier opens North Plant in Omaha, dedicating 200,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space for retail fixtures. Today, the North Plant covers 500,000 sq. ft. of assembly and fabrication.

1972

Lozier purchases first Scottsboro plant, adding fixture and manufacturing capability. Scottsboro Plant II, home of Widespan, wood and ASRS (automated storage and retrieval systems) part production, would join in 2004.

1984

Omaha Distribution Center is purchased, adding 500,000 sq. ft. of shipping and production space.

1989

Lozier Corporation officially opens brand-new main office in Omaha, Nebraska.

2004

Lozier purchases second Scottsboro, AL facility.

2014

Lozier acquires Leggett & Platt’s store fixture business, including Middlebury production. Today, the Indiana facility hosts 1.5 million sq. ft. of manufacturing space for retail fixtures, including L-line and T-system.

2023

The Lozier Certified Provider program is introduced, giving customers of all sizes access to Lozier fixtures through targeted partnerships with nationwide distributor network.

2026

Today, Lozier employs more than 2,000 people across 5 states, manufacturing retail fixtures and ASRS (automated storage and retrieval systems) solutions used by businesses around the world.
