OM Machine Operator Lead Rigoberto Ocon loads scrap steel for Bellevue West High School.
Bellevue West High School received a scrap steel donation on Tuesday, starting off the spring school semester strong. The materials will be used in welding and fabrication classes in the near future. With all schools back in session, requests for weld coupons are ramping up again. Around twenty schools received over 60,000 pounds of steel last year, topping 2024’s record by 13,000 pounds.
