Lozier supports MOTI Event, promoting skilled trades at MCC

Lozier Brand Manager Josh Gear speaks to the group of competitors.

Hundreds of students took part in the Metro Omaha Trades Invitational (MOTI) at Metropolitan Community College last Friday, putting their abilities to the test.

Brand Manager Josh Gear and Community Outreach and Engagement Manager Ralph Kleinsmith supported the event. Gear spoke at the event on behalf of Lozier’s Sponsorship for the Trades students and moderated the awards.

High School and college students competed with their peers in Skilled Trades, Creative Arts, Design, Information Technology and other events. Students were judged for their technical performance in the respective categories. Nearly one hundred students qualified to advance to the SkillsUSA Nebraska Championships, which will occur this April in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Lozier has supported MOTI for for over six years, encouraging local high school students and Sponsorship for the Trades students to enter the competition.
