Webb City High School Choir Booster Club Supports Show Choir Student Success with Lozier Community Grant

In its fourth year, the employee-led Lozier Community Grants program supported 50 nonprofit organizations across the country in 2025. These are the 2025 recipient organizations’ stories of impact.

The Webb City High School Choir Booster Club is made up of families supporting Webb City High School’s vocal music program. The high school in Webb City, Missouri, has up to 115 students in the show choir each year. The Booster Club support the kids with guidance, promotion and resources not otherwise provided by the school’s program.

A big way the Booster Club supports the show choir is in creating props and backdrops for the stage. Volunteering their time and resources, the Booster Club is purchasing a Modular Truss and Lighting system that would eliminate the need to construct handmade systems each year to fit the need and theme of the show choir. The new system can be used every year, reshaped to fit the new theme.

With the new system, the Booster Club can focus more of its time providing for the students whether the need is in supporting the student’s costumes, competition feed or nonperishable supplies to continue the show choir’s peak performance.
