Kidsgrove is a place where anyone can come and use their imagination. This Snyder County playground has been around since 2010, providing a place for kids to have fun and still learn something while enjoying the outdoors.
The wood playground features play areas to captain ships, drive trains through Appalachian Mountains or run a beauty salon in the center of the mini town. Board Member and Grounds Maintenance Support Michael Fasold joined Kidsgrove this year, looking for a way to give back to his community and support the playground his children love.
Lozier’s community grant will support the upkeep for the playground and a few new additions to keep the playground an exciting place for all ages. Kidsgrove hopes to build a learning garden, with sensory plants, herbs and perennials with name tags along with a worm farm exhibit with educational activities.
