Miles Rogers looks on as Logistics Coordinator Alyssa Albers explains Logistics and Traffic work at Lozier.
Lozier’s Logistics team spent time training an aspiring student at the Main Office this month.
Miles Rogers, a senior at Omaha North High School, paid a visit to Lozier as part of the Job Shadow program, looking to see the world of Logistics in action. Rogers spent the morning with Mike Kelley, Logistics Process Improvement Specialist, who explained how Traffic plays such a powerful role for manufacturing operations like Lozier.
The Logistics and Traffic team took Rogers on a tour of the North Plant and Distribution Center, showing off the effort in action, before hosting a question-and-answer session over the lunch hour.
Rogers plans to attend either Massachusetts or the New York Maritime Academy, studying logistics there. He plans to return to Omaha to work over the summer.
