Lozier Certified Provider Advance Displays Strengthens Lozier Partnership with Grand Opening in Scottsboro

Lozier Certified Provider (LCP) Advance Displays strengthens its partnership with Lozier after the Grand Opening of its Scottsboro location. Steps away from Lozier’s facility in Scottsboro, Friday’s ceremony marked a historic day for Advance Displays as it opens its first facility in the eastern US. Its Scottsboro location will be the largest for the Utah-based company, measuring 303,000 square feet once fully renovated and operational.

“Since we started the relationship with Lozier more than 30 years ago, everything we’ve done has been about strengthening the relationship with Lozier,” said Advance Displays CEO Rick Lucking. “We’ve always been one to add value to a brand, and we consider Lozier the best brand in the business. We wanted to match that service model and be the best in the business as well. Opening a facility in Scottsboro has allowed us to expand our reach and get into new markets for Lozier.”

Advance Displays Chief Operating Officer Colby Briggs says Scottsboro’s proximity to Mobile, Alabama’s shipping lanes as well as Lozier’s manufacturing facility were driving factors in choosing a location for its Southeastern US expansion.

“Scottsboro is very exciting from a growth standpoint and unlocks new potential for Advance Displays we didn’t have before,” Briggs said. “With the new facility, 80% of our customers are within two days transit and 97% of our customers are within three days transit. Our ability to deliver quickly and to get product from our facility to our customers in a very tight timeline has dramatically changed because of this location.”

Advance Displays executives were joined by community organizations and city officials including Scottsboro Mayor Jim McCamy at the Ribbon Cutting. McCamy emphasized how exciting new business is for the community, bringing new jobs and investments.

One of those investments comes from one of Advance Display’s core values, giving back to the community in a donation to Jackson County’s Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) with a check presentation during the grand opening. Executive Director Miranda Corona expressed her gratitude for the donation which will allow the CAC to provide its services for children who have experienced trauma or abuse.

“We are so excited that Advance Displays chose us to donate money to, letting us provide therapy to children, forensic interviews and so much more,” Corona said. “It just shows what kind of leadership they have, that they care and want to give back to Jackson County.”

After the ribbon cutting, attendees were invited to tour the new facility. With stage one of the project finished, Lozier product was on display, ready to be re-packed into whatever quantities necessary for customers.

“The Scottsboro facility is a great addition for Advance Displays and Lozier.” said Chief Revenue Officer Molly Lyons. “To have a partner close in proximity to our Scottsboro manufacturing facility will provide great benefits to our customers in the region.

Scottsboro Plant Manager Drew Sauber said he’s excited about Lozier’s new neighbors, opening the door for greater collaboration, customer support and growth.
