
On Sunday, Lozier took part in Afro Fest, Omaha’s annual celebration of African culture. This year marks year four of Lozier taking part as a sponsor.
Technical Data Analyst I Anthony Bledje, Talent & Employee Relations Manager Marlena Godbolt and Community Outreach & Engagement Manager Ralph Kleinsmith represented Lozier at the gathering. Additionally, OM Paintline Attendant Lead Kpona Tokre stopped by the table to support Lozier at the festival. Bledje and Kpona are both from Togo. The employees educated attendees about Lozier’s career opportunities while also handing out brochures and merchandise.

Similar to prior years, Afro Fest was held at the Heartland of America Park at the RiverFront in downtown Omaha. The festival showcased live music, dance, arts and crafts, authentic African cuisine, children’s activities and a learning and arts exhibition. A variety of organizations, businesses, student groups and other community partners took part in the event alongside Lozier.
