In its fourth year, the employee-led Lozier Community Grants program supported 50 nonprofit organizations across the country in 2025. These are the 2025 recipient organizations’ stories of impact.
Oftentimes, traditional transportation options are unreliable and unsafe for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. This is where Chariots4Hope steps in to help. The organization’s SafeRoute program ensures reliable transportation, with background-checked driver strained in trauma-informed care.
SafeRoute rides are pre-scheduled and coordinated to be discrete in respect to the passenger’s privacy, dignity, and emotional wellbeing. Having access to this type of transportation helps survivors reach safe shelters, attend court hearings, participate in support groups, and connect with social services.
Lozier Community Grant funding supportsChariots4Hope’s SafeRoute program. With funding for the initiative, the operation can provide increased flexibility to respond promptly in dire situations as well as expand the operation’s reach.
