Abraham Lincoln High School students learn about Manufacturing careers

Students from the Iowa Jobs for American Graduates (iJAG) program visited Lozier last week. The program partners with Iowa schools to deliver career development programming, including leadership training, career education, individualized guidance, and employer engagement. By visiting local companies, individuals enrolled in iJAG take on the quest of learning about the various career pathways they can pursue in the future.

Thursday’s visitors included ten freshman and sophomores from Iowa’s Abraham Lincoln High School. The group learned about manufacturing and skilled trades careers from Community Outreach & Engagement Manager Ralph Kleinsmith. Kleinsmith gave the students a tour of both the Main Office and Omaha Plant. Through the tour, students were able to learn about day-to-day operations in manufacturing.
