Middlebury and Omaha celebrated Manufacturing Month with the annual Open House, inviting family and friends to see who we are and what we do.
Along with an open manufacturing floor, Middlebury had all kinds of activities from face painting, a bounce house, pumpkin painting to a cornhole challenge. A magician was also on site, performing two shows throughout the day. Middlebury also enjoyed a delicious lunch from San Marco’s Taco Truck.
In Omaha, all three campus buildings were open, with the North Plant hosting the Pancake Man for breakfast along with a coffee truck and plant tours. In the Main Office, kids and adults learned a little bit about the manufacturing process through a do-it-yourself keychain shelf along with coloring and learning about different benefits Lozier offers. The Distribution Center showed off some of its recent changes supporting Project Dylan as well as various games and photo opportunities.
Omaha also hosted a job fair at the same time as the Open House where hundreds attended in search of their next potential career. Marketing, HR and Plant teams showcased their excellence in the huge demand screening, interviewing and giving candidates plant tours. Director of People, Communications and Marketing Hannah Bolte and Quality Tech Jennifer Tomanio were also featured on Omaha’s ABC news station, KETV NewsWatch 7, promoting the job fair and Lozier careers.
