Lozier was the headline First Friday sponsor at the Elkhart County 4-H Fair. Near Middlebury in Northern Indiana, the Elkhart County Fair is the second largest 4-H county fair in the nation, hosting more than 200,000 people over the fair’s nine days.

As a First Friday sponsor, Lozier set up a booth near one of the main entrances. More than 20 volunteers from Middlebury worked in shifts to give away Lozier swag, from backpacks to pens, for fair-goers to use throughout their visits. The opening day, First Friday features discounted $5 entry tickets and various $5 food deals from vendors around the fairgrounds.

“Lozier has sponsored the First Friday for a number of years and it showcases Lozier’s commitment to the community and lets us tell the story of who we are,” said Community Outreach & Engagement Specialist Darcey Mitschelen. “Throughout the week you’ll see kids and adults running around the fair with Lozier-branded backpacks – it just helps get the word out.”

A flyer with a map and details of the food deals was also handed out at the Lozier tent and situated around the fair.r together in a couple weeks.
