Saturday’s celebration of community, collaboration and culture drew thousands to Omaha’s Malcolm X Memorial Birthsite, including several Lozier representatives.

Commemorating Juneteenth, the Omaha Freedom Festival was created to educate and empower the Omaha area, celebrating the culture of North Omaha while bringing awareness to local, social and business resources for the community. Lozier has been part of the event for several years, including Saturday’s gathering.

DC Quality Technician David Johnson and Brand Manager Josh Gear teamed up to cover the booth, speaking with hundreds of families. A prize wheel presented gifts for the kids, while parents asked questions about Lozier’s operation, history and potential career offerings.

Lozier has been part of the Omaha Freedom Festival for the past four years.
