Lozier’s former West Plant was purchased in June 1962 and later expanded as the business grew in early 1965. The expansion featured a 66,000 square-foot addition to the south side of the original West Plant building. The investment brought Lozier’s manufacturing area up to 200,000 square feet and provided between 50 – 100 jobs.

Allan Lozier said he was proud to expand Lozier in North Omaha specifically, saying in the article,” Our company grew up in North Omaha and we are deeply interested in its future and in the future of the entire city.”

Lozier has remained committed to North Omaha and its community, including participating in the Juneteenth parade on North 24th street for the past few years. In late 2024, Lozier Certified Provider KC Store Fixtures purchased the West Plant to use as an assembly and distribution center, meaning the plant still sees Lozier fixtures today.
