In its fourth year, the employee-led Lozier Community Grants program supported 50 nonprofit organizations across the country in 2025. These are the 2025 recipient organizations’ stories of impact.
The Snyder County Libraries serve more than 39,000 residents in Snyder County. At its headquarters in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, the library is looking at improving its children’s and youth programming. New computers and interactive technology will help revitalize the main branch’s programming.
Executive Director David Bauman said the Lozier Community Grants program will help the Selinsgrove branch and community with new computers, software, projectors and more.
“We are taking a somewhat broad approach to revitalizing our children and youth programming at the Rudy Gelnett Library in Selinsgrove, and the wider community throughout the county,” Bauman said. “It both has a community building focus, particularly to help build bridges with children, youth, and families across social and language barriers, as well as a focus on education and STEM learning.”
Bauman is excited to keep up Snyder County Libraries’ mission to support lifelong learning and provide free, equal, and confidential access to materials, information, and services to meet the educational, recreational, cultural, and social needs of his community.
